Lászlo Stachó, a prominent representative of the world of big music, visited the conservatory


The working visit to the conservatory of the famous musician, Professor of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music (Hungary), Doctor of Philosophy Lászlo Stachó began on October 17. The schedule of the foreign guest's stay was very busy and interesting. Master classes and a solo concert were scheduled to be held on various topics until October 20.

On the day of arrival, Laszlo Staho shared the secrets of performing in the master class "Methodology of effective and inspiring training." On October 18 and 20, the pianist conducted master classes on "The history and analysis of performing arts in the early twentieth century."

On October 19, Professor Laszlo Stakho gave a solo concert at the Ye. Rakhmadiyev Grand Concert Hall. As part of the concert program, he performed works by J. Haydn's "Sonata in C Minor, Hob XVI:20", W.A. Mozart's "Sonata in C Major KV 330", F. Liszt's "Nocturne En reve (Dream), S.207", and "Sursum corda" (The Height of the heart) from the collection "The Third Year of Wandering, S.163, B. Bartok "Fifteen Hungarian peasant songs", Sz. 71, BB 79.

Lászlo Stachó is a musicologist, psychologist and pianist. Today, Dr. Stachó is a lecturer at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music (Budapest). Moreover, he is one of the frequently invited professors at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory (Rome) and the Catarina Gursky Graduate School of Music (Madrid). Dr. Staho's teaching activities cover several areas at once: chamber music, musical analysis and the history of performing practice of the twentieth century, the psychology of musical performance and the methodology of rehearsals. At the same time, the professor deals with the issue of training the attention of musicians. Over the past ten years, he has been actively involved in the development of a national curriculum for music education in his homeland, Hungary.

As a pianist and chamber musician, he visited more than fifteen countries such as the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Slovenia, Romania, Turkey, Israel, where in his master classes and seminars he shared his methods of preparing for piano playing and chamber performance.

He combines the work on developing the training methodology of Dr. Staho with lessons in orchestral coaching. From 2014 to 2017, he was a specially invited researcher at the University of Cambridge and Downing College at the University. This year, he taught as a visiting professor at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
